1. BOOKINGS
1.1 All applications to
register for the event are subject to availability and you making full payment.
1.2 Confirmation (or
rejection) of your booking will be sent to you by email in receipt of your
booking request.
1.3 No refunds will be
given in respect of non-attendance.
1.4 Cancellations; no refund will be given, in the event of any unforeseen
1.5 I understand the event may be filmed, recorded and photographed for marketing promotional and the organisers use whereby I may be featured. I understand that by attending and participating in the event I give consent to being filmed, recorded and photographed.
1,6 Invoice Bookings made from 31/03/2020 - During COVID-19 - For all invoice bookings whereby payment has not yet been received, will have the option to cancel the event. Cancellations must be made in writing to the organisers: info@constructionsummits.com NO LATER THAN 5pm on Friday 31st July 2020. If full payment is received our standard Terms & Conditions will then apply. If you fail to notify the organisers in writing prior to 31/07/2020 our standard Terms & Conditions will then apply and full payment is due no later than Monday 3rd August 2020.
2. PRICES AND PAYMENT
2.1 Our prices for
attending the event are set out on the relevant registration booking form and
event website. Prices may be subject to change from time to time.
2.2 Bookings made and
paid for via credit card through our online registration platform will be
confirmed immediately by email. In the
event that you request to be invoiced, this will be automatically generated and
payment is due immediately on receipt of this invoice.
2.3 If you apply to
register for the event less than two (2) weeks before the date of the event we
will only accept payment by a credit card, unless we expressly agree otherwise
in writing. If for any reason we have not received payment in full by the date
of the event you (or the attendees) will be asked as a condition of being
allowed to attend the event to provide payment by credit card on the day of the
event. We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time if payment is
not made.
2.4 You acknowledge and
accept that on completion of the booking process you are liable for the full cost
of the completed order and payment is immediately required. If payment is not
made in accordance with this Clause 2, interest on the overdue balances
(including any period after the date of any judgement or decree against the
Customer), and late payment fees, fall due and payable and are calculated upon
the basis set out in the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
(as amended).
3. CHANGES TO THE EVENT AND CANCELLATIONS
3.1 It may be necessary
for reasons beyond our reasonable control to alter the advertised content,
timing and/or location of the event or the advertised speakers. We reserve the
right to do this at any time. Where we alter the time and/or location of the event,
we will provide you with notice of the same and will offer you the choice of
either a credit for a future event of your choice (up to the value of sums paid
by you in respect of the event) or the opportunity to attend the event as
varied.
3.2 If you are unable to attend the event we welcome
substitute attendees attending in your place at no extra cost provided that we
have at least 2 days prior notice of the name of your proposed substitute and
have received payment in full. Please notify us of any substitutions by email: info@constructionsummits.com
3.3 We shall not be liable to you for travel, accommodation or other costs and expenses incurred (included wasted costs and expenses) if we are required to cancel or relocate the event as a result of an event outside our control (including, without limitation, to acts of God, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations, acts of terrorism or threats of any such acts, any strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action and a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness).
